I love you. Not you in the mirror
63I love you
I love YOU
I..LOVE...you
No not you in the Mirror
But him, he, you!
How is that possible. That can't be true.
Break the glass so I can not see
The girl who is looking back at me
Cause I want to cry with hate felt tears in my eyes
No wonder he doesn't love me
Because I don't love me
He says he loves me
But really does he?
Belle said "Who could ever love a beast"
It's true..Because that's how I feel when I look at you..YOU! In the mirror looking back.
How can you love him, her, or that if you don't have love for yourself
If you can't see love in the mirror then you don't truly feel it for anyone else.
I didn't see a picture more fitting for this hub..then a picture of myself. Its the truth though. You can't love if you don't have self love.

Very very true...well said...nice poem. Philip
To love and self respect is most important in life. so love yourself first than love your love one. Thus you will get love twice. Nice poem.
Amazing, and I completely agree. You're a great poet.
yes i am completly agree with u and ur poem ithink its u ideaa
One cannot be loved if one does not love oneself first...
Thank you for a beautiful poem. creativeone59
very powerful. thanks for sharing!
I agree with Anath, you have to love yourself first, and people will see it and respond. We sometimes look for perfection in that mirror, (I personally spend a lot of time cleaning it to see can I get myself to sparkle more but naah!)I knew a guy who told me he loved me despite my faults. I told him he was ugly then I thanked him for the touching sentiment! LOL! (I didnt mean it.....much!)
...and men love women that love themselves in any way possible, by loving themselves means also they feel good, look good and smell oh so nice!
Well done, thanks for sharing. Kerry.
your writing is heartfelt, profound and as delicious as the three layer cake I am eating right now with my mango tea!

Very true. Many people look to others for love to increase their self esteem. These people tend to be very clingy in regards to relationships.
btw you mean to say hate filled tears right? Just pointing out a typo.
